Duration: 1-Year Contract (Potential for Permanent Conversion) Overview:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to support our daily cybersecurity operations and assist with PCI compliance. This role is ideal for an entry- to mid-level security engineer with a strong foundation in security tools, vulnerability management, and infrastructure security. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily cybersecurity operations , including monitoring, threat analysis, and security incident response.
- Support PCI compliance efforts by ensuring security controls and processes meet compliance standards.
- Manage and optimize security tools for vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and network security.
- Work with infrastructure teams to enhance security within Active Directory, Windows environments, and network security .
- Maintain thorough documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents.
- Collaborate across teams to improve security posture and ensure effective communication of risks and mitigations.
- 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and security tools.
- Familiarity with infrastructure security , including Active Directory, Windows security, and network security .
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Security certifications, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar) preferred.
- Hybrid schedule: 3-4 days in-office (subject to company policy changes).
