We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to manage general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial reporting for assigned entities. This role involves reviewing financial transactions, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide financial insights, and support audits and forecasting efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly general ledger reconciliations and trial balances, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries while verifying proper accounting classifications.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated and individual financial statements, including footnotes and audit documentation.
- Ensure proper classification of transactions within the general ledger and subaccount structures.
- Review and validate accounts payable entries before they are recorded.
- Provide financial reports and data analysis to management for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain open communication with accounting leadership regarding key issues and financial data requests.
- Conduct balance sheet account analysis, reviewing monthly transactions for accuracy.
- Support financial audits by gathering necessary documentation and providing explanations as needed.
- Develop budgets and forecasts based on actual data and future projections.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external auditors.
- Goal-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
